The Zizzers came out and played a strong first half against the Tigers from Waynesville on Tuesday. The Zizzers created some scoring chances and played pretty well defensively. The lone goal of the half went to Waynesville as the Zizzers got caught getting back slow as a cross was played in front of the goal. A Tiger player was there to tap the ball into the goal. In the second half, the Tigers got an early goal followed by a penalty kick goal to make it 3-0. That kind of took the wind out of the sails for the Zizzers. They tried to create some chances and nearly had a goal, but it was headed off the line by a Tiger defender. The Tigers would add two more goals to reach the final score of 5-0. There were some good moments on both sides of the ball for the Zizzers, but we still need to get better in several areas. We need to put some balls in the net and get some confidence in that area.

In the JV game, the Zizzers played pretty well. Defensively things were good. Offensively there were some chances. The game looked like it might end in a 0-0 tie, but the Tigers were able to get a goal in the later part of the second half to get the 1-0 win.
