Last Fall, I was talking to Scott Cressman and mentioned the idea of Team Shelters to cover the players’ benches at the WPHS Soccer Field. Scott took the idea and ran with it. After some designing and testing and redesigning, the project is coming together. The Frames of the Team Shelters were delivered to the Soccer Field on Friday Evening and the project should be completed soon.
Scott has been the main man behind this project and has given a lot of his free time to make these shelters a reality. A number of other people were out at the field tonight helping get the frames installed: Greg Shannon, Randy Hunt, Brad Bender, Carmen Cressman, and some of the boys.
The funding for this project is coming from the Zizzer Athletic Booster Club. We appreciate everyone’s help on this project and can’t wait for the finished product!
