The West Plains Soccer Association will host a benefit barbecue on Saturday, May 22 at the WPSA Soccer Park on Highway 63 in West Plains.
Proceeds from the barbecue will go to Nicholas Long and Dave Huff to help ease their families medical expenses. Nicholas has masses on his brain and spine and Dave is battling cancer.
Nicholas is a WPSA U8 players and is the son of U8 Coach Mark Long. Dave is the father of Zizzer Soccer player Logan Huff and former Lady Zizzer Soccer player Kristin Huff.
They will be serving hotdogs, hamburgers, pulled pork and more. Plates will start at $5.00 and will be served 10:00am-1:00pm.
