On monday evening the West Plains Lady Zizzers traveled to Marshfield to take on the Lady Jays. West Plains got on the board first on a Penalty Kick in the 11th minute after Marshfield was called for a handball in the box. Mollie Plocher scored the Penalty Kick for a 1-0 lead. Tiffany Vincent added a goal from 18 yards out on a left footed shot. This was the first career for Vincent who is a Senior Back/Midfielder.
Marshfield would miss a Penalty Kick in the second half as Audi Morrison was called for a push in the 11th minute. The Lady Jays would cut the lead in half in the 30th minute by #9 on a 20 yard shot to the far post.
Michelle Esterle added an insurance goal in the 36th minute of the half on an 18 yard shot lifted over the keeper and in the goal.
In JV action, Marshfield defeated the Zizzers 5-0. Marshfield scored 4 first half goals in the 11th, 20th, 21st, and 24th minutes and added another in the 28thminute of the second half.
