On Saturday, March 3, the house of Greg and Deanna Simpkins burned. They have been able to get some stuff out and are now going through to see what can be saved and what can’t. Fortunately, no one was injured in the fire.
The Simpkins’ have 3 kids. A son, Brant, is away at college. One daughter, Cameron, played soccer for the Lady Zizzers last year and is away at college. Their other daughter, Kalie, is a sophomore at WPHS and is a member of the Lady Zizzer Soccer Team.
Greg Simpkins is also the Athletic Director and Football Coach at WPHS.
At our scrimmage on Tuesday March 13, we will be accepting donations to benefit the Simpkins Family. If you would like to make a donation, you can make it that night or contact Coach Schmitt.
