The 2006 season of Zizzer Soccer was the most successful ever. 26 Team and individual records were tied or broken (check out the Records pages on the left). We won the Rolla Tournament and the Parkview Tournament for the first time. We finished 5th in the Ozark Conference – our best finish ever. And we made our first trip to the Final Four – finishing in 3rd Place. Not bad.
A couple of other things to note:
We never lost back to back games.
Only once did we allow more than 2 goals in a game (Parkview – And we won that one in a PK shootout).
Only once did we lose by more than 1 goal (Notre Dame 2-0).
We were only shutout 3 times (Moberly, Sikeston, Notre Dame).
We played with confidence and we never quit playing in any game.

Congratulations to the players, coaches, and all who was involved! I only got to see a few games, but followed throughout the season. You all played great and deserved such a wonderful finish to the year. CONGRATULATIONS!!
